Description

Madhuca korthalsii (also called Mahua, Mahwa, or Iluppai, among many other common names) is a medium-sized tree native to India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. It typically grows up to 15 meters tall and has a trunk diameter of up to 60 cm. It is found in dry deciduous forests, moist deciduous forests, and semi-evergreen forests.
