Description

Gentiana duclouxii (also called Ducloux's Gentian, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Himalayas, China, and Japan. It has a creeping rootstock and grows to a height of up to 30 cm. Its leaves are lanceolate and its flowers are blue-violet. It grows in alpine meadows, grasslands, and rocky slopes.
