Gentiana burseri (also called Burser's Gentian, among many other common names) is a small perennial herbaceous plant that grows up to 20 cm tall. It has blue-violet flowers and is native to the mountains of Central and Eastern Europe. It grows in meadows, pastures, and rocky slopes at altitudes of up to 2000 m.
