Description
Lithocarpus erythrocarpus (also called Chinese tanoak, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to China and Taiwan. It is a large tree, growing up to 40 meters tall. Its leaves are alternate and simple, with a toothed margin. It is found in forests and scrublands, at altitudes of up to 2000 meters.
