Description
Lithocarpus brassii (also called Brass Tanbark Oak, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to the Philippines. It typically grows to a height of 10–15 m and has a trunk diameter of up to 0.5 m. Its leaves are alternate, simple, and obovate in shape. It is found in dry, open forests and woodlands.

Cultivation and Propagation
Lithocarpus brassii is a species of tree in the Fagaceae family. It is native to Vietnam and is found in evergreen forests at elevations of 600–1,100 metres (2,000–3,600 ft). It is a medium-sized tree, growing up to 25 metres (82 ft) tall. It is cultivated for its timber, which is used for furniture, construction, and fuel. Propagation is by seed or cuttings.
