Description
Cylindropuntia kleiniae (also called Klein's beavertail cactus, among many other common names) is a species of cactus native to the Sonoran Desert in the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. It is a low-growing, sprawling cactus with cylindrical stems that can reach up to 2 feet (0.6 m) in length. It is found in dry, rocky, open areas, often in association with creosote bush and other desert shrubs.
