Description

Cylindropuntia kelvinensis (also called Kelvin Cholla, among many other common names) is a shrubby cactus species native to the Sonoran Desert and the Chihuahuan Desert of the United States and Mexico. It is a columnar cactus with cylindrical stems, which are covered with clusters of yellow spines. It grows in dry, rocky habitats.
