Description
Helosis ruficeps (also called Red-headed helosis, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the southeastern United States. It has a basal rosette of leaves and produces a single stem with a terminal inflorescence. Its leaves are lanceolate to ovate in shape and its flowers are yellow in color.
