Areca andersonii (also called Anderson's Areca Palm, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Arecaceae family. It is a tall palm with a single, slender, grey trunk and a crown of up to 12 leaves. It is native to India, Sri Lanka, and the Andaman Islands, and grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests.
