Description

Vitis fengqinensis (also called Fengqin Grape, among many other common names) is a deciduous vine native to South America. It grows up to 10 m tall and has leaves that are ovate, with a pointed tip, and are up to 8 cm long. It is found in dry forests, scrublands, and rocky areas in Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

Vitis fengqinensis is used in traditional Chinese medicine for treating fever, malaria, and dysentery. It is also used as an ornamental plant in gardens.
