Sphagnum subfulvum (also called 'Tawny Bogmoss' and 'Tawny Peatmoss', among many other common names) is a species of moss native to the Northern Hemisphere. It has a reddish-brown stem with a tawny color and is found in wet, acidic habitats such as bogs and fens.
