Description
Sphagnum hegewaldii (also called 'Hegewald's Bogmoss', among many other common names) is a species of moss found in the temperate regions of the world. It has a creeping habit and grows to a height of 5-10 cm. It has a creeping rhizome and oblong-lanceolate leaves. It is found in wet, acidic habitats such as bogs and marshes.
