Description
Schistochila papillifera (also called Papillate Schistochila, among many other common names) is a small, yellow-green liverwort species that is native to the Caribbean, Central and South America. It grows in moist, shady habitats such as in forests, on rocks, and in soil.

Schistochila papillifera has small, yellow flowers with four petals. The seeds are small, black, and round. The seedlings are small, green, and have a single, small, heart-shaped leaf.
