Description

Xanthophytum calycinum (also called Calycine Xanthophytum, among many other common names) is a small evergreen shrub native to India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia. It grows up to 2 meters in height and has a spreading crown. Its bark is grayish-brown and its leaves are glossy green. It grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests.
