Description

Psychotria amieuensis (also called Amieu Wild Coffee, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree up to 5 m tall, native to the Himalayas and the mountains of Central Asia, growing in open forests and scrub at elevations of 2,000–3,500 m. It has ovate-lanceolate leaves, white flowers, and red fruits.

Psychotria amieuensis is used in traditional medicine for treating fever, malaria, and other illnesses. It is also used as an ornamental plant in gardens.
