Description

Faramea brevipes (also called Short-stalked Faramea, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Rubiaceae. It is a shrub or small tree, growing up to 5 m tall, with evergreen leaves. It is native to tropical Africa, from Sierra Leone to Ethiopia, and also to Madagascar. It grows in lowland rainforest and coastal forest.
