Description

Sibbaldia procumbens (also called Creeping Sibbaldia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the rose family Rosaceae. It is a deciduous shrub, native to Europe and Asia. It typically grows to a height of 0.3–0.6 m (1–2 ft). It prefers moist, well-drained soil and full sun.

Sibbaldia procumbens is a shrub that can be propagated by seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in spring in a cold frame and cuttings should be taken in early summer. The shrub prefers light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils and requires well-drained soil. It prefers acid, neutral and basic (alkaline) soils and can grow in very acid soils. It can grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade. It requires moist soil.
