Description
Delphinium chamissonis (also called Chamisso’s Larkspur, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to western North America. It grows to a height of up to 1 meter and has deeply lobed leaves. It is found in moist, shady areas in the understory of forests and is widespread in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona.

Delphinium chamissonis has a flower that is a deep blue-violet color and has a bell-shaped form. The seed is a small, dark brown nutlet. The seedlings are small and have a single, oval-shaped leaf.
