Myrsine pillansii (also called 'Pillans' Myrsine', among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub native to tropical regions of Central and South America. It has oval-shaped leaves that are dark green on the top and lighter green on the underside. It grows in humid, tropical forests and can reach heights of up to 15 feet.
