Description
Puccinellia przewalskii (also called Przewalski's alkaligrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass species native to Northern America, Europe, and Asia. It grows in wet, alkaline soils and is often found in salt marshes, seashores, and meadows.

Puccinellia przewalskii has small, yellow flowers with three petals. Its seeds are small, dark brown and oval-shaped. Its seedlings are small, green and have a single leaf.
Cultivation and Propagation
Puccinellia przewalskii is a perennial grass that is native to the steppes of Central Asia. It can be propagated by seed or division. Seeds should be sown in the spring in a sunny location with well-drained soil. Division should be done in the spring or fall. The plants should be spaced about 12 inches apart.
