Description
Puccinellia maritima (also called maritime alkali grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass of the Poaceae family. It is native to North America, and is found in salt marshes, wet meadows, and other wetland habitats.

Puccinellia maritima is used as a forage crop for livestock, as a soil stabilizer, and for erosion control.
