Description
Paspalum fimbriatum (also called Fringed Paspalum, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to South America. It has long, narrow leaves and small, spike-like inflorescences. It grows in moist, sunny habitats such as riverbanks, roadsides and pastures.
Uses & Benefits
Paspalum fimbriatum is used as a forage grass for livestock, as well as for erosion control, soil stabilization, and as a turf grass. It is also used as an ornamental plant in gardens and landscapes.
