Description

Paspalum alterniflorum (also called Alterniflorous paspalum, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to South America. It is a perennial grass that grows in tufts and can reach heights of up to 1m. It is found in tropical and subtropical regions, and grows in moist, low-lying areas, such as swamps, marshes, and wet meadows.
