Description
Paspalum ekmanianum (also called Water Couch, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to South America. It has long, narrow leaves that grow in tufts and can reach up to 1 m in height. It is found in wetland habitats, such as marshes, swamps, and along the banks of streams and rivers.
Uses & Benefits
Paspalum ekmanianum is used as a forage grass for livestock, as an ornamental grass, and as a soil stabilizer.
