Description

Paspalum albidulum (also called White-tipped paspalum, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to South America. It is a perennial grass that grows in tufts and can reach heights of up to 1m. It is found in tropical and subtropical regions, and grows in moist, low-lying areas, such as swamps, marshes, and wet meadows.

Paspalum albidulum is used as a forage crop for livestock, as well as for erosion control, soil stabilization, and as a cover crop for other crops. It is also used in landscaping and as a turf grass.
