Description

Mayariochloa amphistemon (also called Amphistemon Grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass species native to the western United States and Canada. It is a small grass with narrow leaves, growing up to 15 cm in height. It prefers moist, sunny habitats such as meadows, grasslands and riverbanks.

Uses & Benefits

Mayariochloa amphistemon is used as an ornamental grass in gardens and parks. It is also used for erosion control and as a soil stabilizer.
