Description
Leptothrium senegalense (also called Leptothrix senegalensis, among many other common names) is a species of filamentous cyanobacteria. It is found in freshwater and brackish water, and is found in tropical regions. It has a rigid, cylindrical shape and is often found in mats or tufts. It is a photosynthetic organism.
