Description

Hordeum tetraploidum (also called Tetraploid Barley, among many other common names) is an annual grass species in the genus Hordeum. It is native to Europe and grows in meadows, steppes, and other open habitats. It has a short stem and a spikelet with two to four flowers. The spikelet is usually green, but can also be yellow or purple.
