Description
Piper tacariguense (also called Tacariguense Pepper, among many other common names) is a perennial shrub native to Central and South America. It grows up to 2 m in height, with small, white flowers and long, narrow leaves. It prefers moist, shady habitats, such as rainforests and cloud forests, and is often found in the understory of these habitats.
