Amblytropis hispidula (also called Hispidula Moss, among many other common names) is a species of moss found in North America, Europe, and Asia. It is a small, tufted moss with a yellowish-green color and a glossy sheen. It grows in wet, shady areas, such as along streams, in forests, and in meadows.

Amblytropis hispidula has small, white flowers and small, dark brown seeds. The seedlings are small and have a thin, yellow-green stem with a few small leaves.
