Description
Galphimia elegans (also called Galphimia glauca, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to Mexico, Central America and South America. It has a thick, woody stem and grows to a height of up to 8 metres. Its leaves are opposite, elliptic-lanceolate, and its flowers are yellow. It grows in tropical deciduous forests, tropical evergreen forests, and tropical dry forests.
