Lindsaea chrysolepis (also called 'Golden-Scaled Fern' and 'Golden-Scaled Shield Fern', among many other common names) is a small, delicate fern native to Australia, New Zealand, and New Caledonia. It has a creeping rhizome and small, round, bright green fronds that are divided into many segments. It grows in moist, shady areas, often in woodlands and forests.
