Description

Plectranthus porphyranthus (also called 'Purple Spurflower', among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to South Africa. It has a woody base and grows to a height of up to 60 cm. Its leaves are ovate to lanceolate, and its flowers are purplish-blue in color. It is found in grassland and scrubland habitats.
