Description
Callicarpa randaiensis (also called 'Randai Callicarpa', among many other common names) is a small, aquatic plant native to Southeast Asia. It is a slow-growing, evergreen perennial with bright green, lance-shaped leaves. It prefers still or slow-moving water, and is often found in ponds, streams, and other shallow water bodies.

Callicarpa randaiensis has small, white flowers with four petals and a yellow center. The seeds are small, black, and round. The seedlings are small and thin, with long, narrow leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Callicarpa randaiensis is an easy-to-cultivate aquatic plant that can be propagated by dividing the rhizomes or by planting cuttings. It prefers full sun and moist soil, and should be planted in a container with a depth of at least 6 inches. It can be grown in both fresh and saltwater aquariums.
