Ajuga spectabilis (also called Showy Bugleweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to eastern North America. It has a creeping habit and grows up to 10 cm tall. The leaves are ovate to oblong-lanceolate with serrate margins. The flowers are blue and borne in racemes. It grows in moist, shady habitats.
