Gentiana tricolor (also called Three-Colored Gentian, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant with a basal rosette of leaves and an erect stem. It is native to the Himalayan region and grows in moist meadows and grasslands at altitudes of 3,000-4,000 m.
