Leiothrix subulata (also called Chinese trumpet creeper, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Bignoniaceae. It is a woody climber with bright green, glossy leaves and clusters of bright red, tubular flowers. It is native to tropical Asia, from India and Sri Lanka to southern China and Taiwan. It is a common garden plant and is also found in forests, thickets, and along roadsides.
