Description
Schoenoplectiella oligoseta (also called Oligosetose Schoenoplectiella, among many other common names) is a small annual herb that grows up to 30 cm in height. It is native to the southeastern United States, and is found in dry, open woods, fields, and roadsides. Its leaves are alternate, pinnately compound, and have round leaflets. Its flowers are yellow, and its fruits are pods.
Cultivation and Propagation
Schoenoplectiella oligoseta is a perennial grass that can be propagated by seed or division. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and should be planted in partial shade. It should be watered regularly and fertilized every few months. Pruning should be done in the spring to encourage new growth.
