Description
Cyathea affinis (also called Affin's Tree Fern, among many other common names) is a species of fern in the Cyatheaceae family. It is native to India, Nepal, and Bhutan, and is found in moist forests, thickets, and along streams. It is an evergreen, terrestrial fern with a creeping rhizome and fronds that are up to 40 cm long. The fronds are lanceolate in shape with a pinnate venation.

The flowers of Cyathea affinis are white with five petals and five sepals. The seeds are small, black and round. The seedlings are thin and have long, narrow leaves.
