Costus asteranthus (also called Aster-flowered Spiral-flag, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. It grows in grassy areas, open woodlands, and disturbed areas. It has spirally arranged leaves and yellow flowers.
