Calophyllum rubiginosum (also called Calophyllum inophyllum, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Clusiaceae family. It is native to tropical regions of Southeast Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines. It grows in lowland rainforests, typically in areas with high humidity and temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius.

Uses & Benefits

Calophyllum rubiginosum is used in traditional medicine for treating skin diseases, as a tonic for the liver, and as an anti-inflammatory. It is also used in construction as a wood preservative and as a dye for fabrics.
