Description

Lophocereus marginatus (also called Margin-Spined Lophocereus, among many other common names) is a cactus species native to Mexico. It is a small, globose cactus, usually solitary, up to 4 cm in diameter, with 8-10 ribs, and yellowish-green spines. It grows in rocky places, in the mountains, at an altitude of 2,000-3,000 m.
