Description
Cymatocarpus heterophyllus (also called Variable-leaved Cymatocarpus, among many other common names) is a species of cactus native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It is a shrub-like cactus that grows up to 1.5 m tall and has cylindrical stems with yellow-green spines. It is found in dry, open areas such as desert scrub and grasslands.
