Description

Onopordum leptolepis (also called 'Slender-leaved Cotton Thistle', among many other common names) is a biennial herbaceous plant native to Europe, North Africa and temperate Asia. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single flower head with white ray florets and yellow disc florets. It is found in meadows, pastures, grasslands, and other disturbed habitats.
