Description

Ayapana trinitensis (also called Ayapana, among many other common names) is an annual herb native to the Caribbean. It has a fibrous root system and grows to a height of 0.3-0.5 meters. The leaves are ovate to lanceolate and green in color. It is found in moist forests and scrublands at elevations of 0-1000 meters.
