Description

Aristeguietia glutinosa (also called ‘sticky guaco’, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to South America. It typically grows to a height of 3-5 m and has a trunk diameter of up to 10 cm. Its leaves are alternate, simple, and oblong-lanceolate in shape. It is found in tropical and subtropical climates, in moist forests and along riverbanks.
