Astelia neocaledonica (also called New Caledonian Astelia, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to New Caledonia. It grows to a height of up to 1.5 meters and has long, narrow leaves. It is found in moist, shady areas in the understory of rainforest and is widespread in New Caledonia.
