Description
Metastelma stenomeres (also called Stenomeres Metastelma, among many other common names) is a perennial, herbaceous plant with white flowers and long, thin stems. It is native to India, Nepal, and Bhutan, and is commonly found in dry, open grasslands and scrublands.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Metastelma stenomeres has white flowers with five petals. The seeds are small, black and round. The seedlings are thin, with long, narrow leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Metastelma stenomeres is a succulent plant that is easy to propagate from cuttings. To propagate, take a cutting from the stem of the plant and allow it to dry for a few days. Then, place the cutting in a pot with well-draining soil and water lightly. The cutting should root in a few weeks. It can also be propagated from seed, but this is more difficult and time consuming.
