Alafia calophylla (also called 'Calophylla Alafia', among many other common names) is a species of orchid found in the tropical forests of Central and South America. It has a single, thin, upright stem that can reach up to 30 cm in height, with a single, large, bright yellow flower. It grows in humid, shady areas, and can be found in the understory of tropical rainforests.

Alafia calophylla is a terrestrial orchid native to Central and South America. It can be grown in a pot or in the ground in a shady area. It prefers a well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter.
