Description
Matelea ceratopetala (also called Horned Petal Matelea, among many other common names) is a perennial plant native to Mexico and Central America. It has a woody stem, and its leaves are lanceolate and alternate. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, and in disturbed areas.
